I laid Ambrose in his crib for his afternoon nap. As he was in the nursery I keep a baby monitor on with him and in the living room. Later when Ambrose was still asleep I decided to pump and was minding my business in the nursery. At this same time Jeff had come home from work and heard a strange noise in the living room. He came to the nursery and was trying to get the door open. I didn't want him to wake Ambrose and told him to go away. However, Jeff thought something was wrong as he had never heard me pump before and wouldn't stop. He kept working on pushing the door until he finally got it open. He had a look of surprise as he saw me with the breast pump. However, I was even more surprised to learn that I had left the baby monitor on and at the loudest volume!
