Ambrose is two days old!

First I asked the night RN to pose for a photo with Ambrose and I before she left this morning.  She called the doctor at 0230 to request a change in pain medication for me.  I remember at about 0200 this morning walking the hall trying to distract myself from the pain.  The norco was not working at all.  I was just determined to tough it out until rounds later in the morning.  Stacey would have nothing of it and got an order to try percocet.  May I say a huge difference!  I felt like I could be mobile!

I still have a lot of swelling in this photo.  In fact after delivery my swelling increased today.  The slippers I bought are a size 11/12.  They barely fit my feet.  I was a 9 1/2 shoe size when I got pregant.
