Royals Home Opener
Kansas City Missouri
I remember in 2009 when Jeff and I first started dating we went to lots of Royals games. Jeff used to live so close to the stadium I would park my car at his house and we'd walk together to the games. In 2010 Jeff became a season ticket holder. In 2011 we made a trip to the home opener which was cold and rainy. So, we kept with tradition and decided last minute to go to Missouri. We left Ambrose with my brother in law Daniel and headed to the game. However, I wanted to make sure Ambrose felt included as all newborns do was in proper attire and he wore a Royals hat in support of the Kansas City team.
Jeff and I tailgating before the game. We enjoyed some food and beverages courtesy of the cook Newby. Then we made a pleasant walk to the local gas station for batteries so I could pump in the truck before the game.
