I love to make New Year resolutions and this year I came up with approximately thirty plus items on my lists. Yes, I realize that this means I am doomed to fail because I should focus on a few small items. However, one of my resolutions is to do a 30 day challenge each month. That makes a total of 12 items, but I'm working on them one month at a time. So, my friends without further aideu.....my 2013 resolutions. Please excuse my grammar in the list.
2013 Resolutions
- Only use reusable bags when shopping at stores.
- Blog once a week
- Grow a herb garden.
I buy way too much fresh herbs in packages at HEB. - The yard would be a lot more beautiful if I would plant the tulips I've been keeping cool in the fridge.
- break down and buy a blue scrub jacket and
possibly have my name embroidered on it - Revamp the Scrapbook room into a craft/classroom area
- multivitamin every day
- Jot down my achievements.
As a mom I constantly forget what I have done milestone wise. - Buy a journal and record things I'm grateful each week for a total of 52 entries.
- A recycle bin needs to be put in the kitchen so badly.
I put items for recycle on the island and it drives Jeffrey nuts. - Birthday Frame
buy a frame, print off all birthdays on paper and place in frame - Run 5 miles a week
That's a total of 260 miles for the year. So, I need to reach the later for sure. - Hill Binder that includes utilities, mortage, car information. I see them on pinterest all the time and need to do it.
- Reorganize my fire box to have the 25 documents before you die.
- surround myself with inspiring photos
- The photo of Jeffrey and Ambrose in KC needs to be hung in his office.
- Make an address list for next year's Christmas Cards
- Be more bold in helping Jeffrey.
Do not wait for him to ask me for help or to do something. For example, the man hates folding laundry. So, when you see his laundry, wash it, dry it, fold it, and put in back in respective drawers. - burn cd of photos of Ambrose from this past year.
- Lose 40 lbs
- Do a Triathalon
- Run a 10K
- Run a 5K
- Write one letter a week
- call one person a week
- Do a better job of keeping in touch with friends. Meet one friend a week for coffee, lunch, playdate, etc
- Make a drink spot in my house.
- Teeth Whitening Kit -21 Days
- Create a Bucket List for each Season and attempt to complete them.

- Complete a Photo Book for each month of Ambrose's life. I'm currently only two months behind right now.
