I am a follower of the blog YoungHouseLove for about two years now. It's a husband/wife team who show DIY on their home and daily life. For example they showed how to raise a newborn on a budget through clothe diapers etc. They were in Austin, TX for their first book tour tonight. I made a sweet little book that they could put favorite quotes of their daughter Clara who's 2. The engagement was a Bookpeople which was very well organized. I had never been there before and it's very personable. I only had to wait about an hour for my book to get signed after the speaking engagement of the Petersiks. (While I waited I enjoyed browsing around the store and found a Nurse book. There were also books I saw I want to check out from the library for Ambrose. I'm trying to be green and use the Library.) They were so down to earth, very personable, and didn't make you feel rushed at all! I asked them to sign a onesie for Ambrose as every Sunday since he was 15 weeks old I take his picture once a week on a different background in a white onesie. I got the idea from their blog. They went to town and were quite touched to do so! Sherry asked me to email them a photo of Ambrose in it. I sent the email and received a reply that my son looked so cute in it. That was really nice of them to reply as I know they're super busy!
