It's my 27th Birthday! (I'm only 11 days over my due date.) We're celebrating my birthday in style! Here is the rundown of the day.
In late pregnancy it's quite common to use the restroom every five minutes. Well, I can only last about three hours of sleep at a time and at 0300 (Pleasant to see I woke up as the same time I was born!) I went about my business. We had a lot of rain through the night and a sever thunderstorm warning. Somewhere during the night we lost electricity. (Don't worry I made it to the bathroom fine.) Jeff was now awake due to my discovery of losing electricity in our home. We realized we were both hungry and I really wanted to get out of the house to pass the time. The electric company was reporting to have electricity back on by 0800 which turned out to be 1000. Anyway we decided to go to IHOP for breakfast due 24 hour service. It was a fun way to start the day. The rain was still pouring on our way home from IHOP and Jeff was really sweet after we left IHOP. He had pulled the truck right up to the door so when I left the restaurant, I just walked right into the truck!
We went to the doctor's office today and everything was great. Our son is doing great, but isn't ready to make his debut.
Here's my birthday gift from my husband Jeff. I'm super excited because I really wanted a glider to rock our new bundle of joy! Jeff also made a birthday cake (Red Velvet, white frosting), bought Cookies N Cream Ice Cream and sang "Happy Birthday."
