Today is Tuesday, March 13 and it was quite an eventful day. I finished my last 12 hour night shift. I am really surprised I made it this far working during my pregnancy. I kept thinking maybe the baby would come early, but he didn't come early. So, I worked over my due date. I'm very thankful that baby is healthy and my pregnancy has been great. It is due to these reasons I was able to keep working so long. Secretly my ultimate goal was to make it through this week so I wouldn't go back to work until after Memorial Day!
I also had a doctor appointment this afternoon. As I am over my guess date, I get a non stress test at each appointment. I also see the physician twice a week. My husband made it with me today and we were able to relax in nice recliners during the tests. Jeff really liked the recliner. In fact, Jeff ordered me a glider for my birthday next week. He went on to tell me during the non stress test that since he bought me the glider he needs a recliner to rock the baby. I think he totally deserves one. So, we'll see if a surprise gift shows up for him sometime in the future. I just need to make sure it's in a good spot where he can still "see the tv." Jeff will usually play angry birds on his phone during my appointments. He has a look on his disgust on his face because he was having difficulty beating the level he was on lol.
I can't believe how tiny my eyes are starting to look lately. I know it's due to the swelling, but it still takes a while to get used to for me. I do have stretch marks, but I like to refer to them as my tiger stripes.....lol.
This is a clip during my non stress test. Jeff is talking about how comy the chair is for the appointment. At the end of the video he comments on how he "wouldn't be able to see the tv very well," at my suggestion of where to put the chair in the living room. I had suggested at the side of the room.....which wasn't directly infront of his 100 inch projector screen.
