I'm so excited that we are able to attend the ALL STAR WEEK!!! All Star week consist of fan fest, ALL STAR SUNDAY (a future minor league game & a celebrity game) Home Run Derby and ALL STAR game. Our little family made it to FAN FEST today and we had such a blast! Our entire family was dressed in Kansas City Royals gear including three month old Ambrose. We were able to get an autograph by Bo Jackson.
I want to share that we were late to the mascot signing. They were leaving as we showed up to their booth and some of them walked over to take pictures with Ambrose! They were so nice. I know they can't talk, but some of the athletes had a chip on their shoulder and the mascots just went above and beyond!
After fan fest Jeff informed me we were going to have a date night at Power & Light District and spend the night downtown. Ambrose got to hang out with Uncle Daniel, Aunt Michelle, and his six female cousins! We went for dinner and dancing. It was romantic, but the best part is that I got to sleep in the next morning! As a breastfeeding Mommy my schedule is dictated by someone who doesn't speak english yet.
