My dear friend Barb and I had an afternoon spent in downtown Austin. It was really fun to visit some new shops including Storyville & Parts and Labour.
I picked up a couple shirts at the stores above. Jeff has always told me that, "It's not all unicorns and glitter." Well Parts and labour had a shirt with a unicorn and glitter on it. I had to have it.
We also drove by the "Hi, How Are You?" mural. The mural was painted by Daniel Johnston in 1993 in a tribute to his 1983 music album of the same name. The animal is a frog.
We made sure since we were downtown to drive by the capital.
