We were able to have our housewarming party October 29. A huge thank you to all our family and friends who were able to come that night. We had a great turnout. We had a dinner and for dessert our gender reveal cake. Jeff and I didn't find out at the ultrasound the gender of the baby. We opted for the technician to put it in an envelope and take it to the bakery. The bakery made us a Halloween themed cake and the inside was to be pink or blue. A huge thank you to Hannah for the pictures and Chelsie for the video!
I chose a Halloween cake because it was Halloween weekend.
Jeff and I getting ready to cut the cake. Jeff knew there would be a lot of pictures so he wore his Missouri shirt. (We're both originally from Missouri.)
Here's the video of the reveal!!!
Oh the look on Jeff's face is priceless. I could tell he was jumping for joy on the inside, but he always contains himself. I'm so excited that we have a healthy baby on the way! We do have quite a bit of sports clothing in the nursery that would have worked on any gender. However, looks like our baby boy will be the one to enjoy it all!!!
It's a boy!
We were so fortunate that Jeff's parents were able to make it to the party.
I am so fortunate to have them as family because they are SO nice to me!
This will be there 16th grandchild which is a great blessing.
